Climbing Community! Trip Helping Access Fund

...
Hi All! Eileen told me to post this up here, since she's helping spread the word about our Access Fund trip (http://www.themostepictrip.com/).

About the Trip:
The project blends outdoor athleticism and environmental stewardship through a five-month tour of North American rock climbing. The tour encompasses over 11,000 miles, 19 states, two provinces, 36 climbing areas and approximately 1,200 climbing hours. We will be documenting this journey through articles, photographs, established websites and social media accounts and putting the entire experience together into a feature-length documentary film.

Our Objectives:
Our mantra is “Dream Big. Live Bigger.” Our primary goals are to inspire everyday people to live extraordinarily and promote a non-profit dedicated to outdoor athletes and wild places. The first goal is accomplished through real-world tips, advice and inspiration as well as personal help with others achieving their lifetime dreams. The latter goal is being accomplished through working alongside Access Fund by providing hands-on fieldwork in support of two of its initiatives: Stewardship and Conservation; and Education.

Everything was going so smoothly until...
Things have been running so smoothly with planning that there was bound to be a snag... and here it is. I received my laptop back yesterday from the tech support folks and found out the only thing it can now do is pretty much connect to the internet and write word documents. This is a problem as we are committed to shooting weekly webisodes for the site as well as doing some heavy-duty blogging and photography of all the places we've been. This laptop was going to be the instrument in making all of that possible... now are scrambling to find what else we can do to make this work. We need to be able to keep things current so we can raise awareness about Access Fund initiatives and keep people excited about being involved in Adopt-A-Crag cleanups while we travel.

As you can imagine, we are on a strict budget since we are paying for this trip out of pocket. We are reaching out to you all to help us spread the word about the current situation and see if anyone has a computer they would be happy to loan for the five month trip. We would hook them up with big hugs and overwhelming gratefulness in return (and, if they have a promotional need, we'd be happy to work with them). We have written a blog post about the situation (http://cot.ag/jmj2mo) if that makes it any easier to help spread the word. Our site also has a donation page which may be an alternative to having an actual computer donated.

This is a long shot, but we've seen some amazing things happen in the outdoor community with people pulling together to support each other and worthwhile causes, so we believe this is completely possible. Thank you for your help, ideas, retweets, reposts, etc. We appreciate your support!
